Solana Surpasses Bitcoin and Ethereum in GSR's Core3 Portfolio
GSR's Core3 model portfolio has seen a significant shift in its asset allocation, with Solana (SOL) now holding the largest share at 45.7%. This represents a 22.7% increase in Solana's weighting compared to the previous allocation.
Meanwhile, Ether (ETH) has risen to 31.5%, a 13.5% increase from its previous allocation, while Bitcoin (BTC) has seen a decline to 22.8%, down 36.2% from its previous level.
Despite the changes in asset allocation, all three assets have gained value over the past week, with Solana rising 20.3%, Ether advancing 13.7%, and Bitcoin increasing 13.1%. However, trading volume has declined across the group, with Solana's volume falling 7% compared to a 27% decrease for Ether and a 1% decrease for Bitcoin.
It is worth noting that Solana was the only asset to show a clear weekly volume rebound, with its volume rising by 28%. The reweighting reflects the Sept. 23 Core3 model allocation.
