Solana Traders Get Boost with DoubleZero Edge

A new platform called DoubleZero Edge has been launched to provide raw Solana block data through a private global fiber network, aiming to reduce delays and improve trading speed.

The platform, which is part of the DoubleZero Foundation, delivers shreds, or blocks of data, an average of 6 milliseconds faster than conventional routing, with a gap of up to 100 milliseconds in congested periods in Asia.

Four major Solana clients, Jito, Temporal, Staking Facilities, and Triton, have signed on as participants, covering the entire validator set and providing a complete data picture for subscribers.

Validators earn additional revenue by publishing data to Edge, while traders pay in USDC to subscribe to feeds. The platform uses multicast distribution, which allows the same data to reach multiple recipients simultaneously without duplication.
