Solana Validators Briefly Disrupted by Infrastructure Outage

Solana's network continued to operate normally despite an infrastructure outage that briefly disrupted some of its validators. According to the Solana Foundation, an overnight outage struck an infrastructure provider used by some validators.

The outage affected a total of 102 out of 699 staking validators, while the remaining 597, or about 85%, continued voting normally during the disruption.

The network remained operational throughout the incident, producing blocks and processing transactions without interruption. The affected validators were restored within 40 minutes.
