Solana Validators Gain Compliance Control with Flowra-Honeypot Partnership
Flowra and Honeypot are teaming up to give institutional validators on Solana more control over compliance policies. The collaboration integrates Honeypot's compliance intelligence with Flowra's Programmable Block Policy (PBP), allowing validators to establish customizable rules for block construction.
The initial implementation supports screening against sanctions-related criteria, including wallet addresses associated with sanctioned entities and network-level indicators such as VPNs and Tor exit nodes. This is a key step forward in making Solana more attractive to institutional participants, who require robust compliance controls.
Flowra's CEO Harry Hwang says that the goal of this collaboration isn't to make the network less open, but rather to give individual validators the flexibility to operate according to their own requirements. The framework is designed to be modular and adaptable, supporting additional enterprise compliance providers over time.
