Solana's $200 Price Target and the Rise of Remittix's PayFi App
Solana's price target for October is $200, but reaching this goal requires a substantial 64% upside from its current market price of around $122. According to some analysts, a broad return of demand for SOL and sustained activity across its applications are necessary for a lasting breakout. Solana's established market capitalization means a 64% move represents a significant increase in value.
Meanwhile, Remittix is testing its PayFi app, which allows users to fund transfers with supported cryptocurrencies and deliver fiat through a compatible bank route. The project has invited 1,000 existing RTX holders to test the app, with EUR and USD available in the initial phase. This test aims to demonstrate the feasibility of using crypto to move money across borders and convert it into usable bank funds.
Remittix estimates that capturing just 0.1% of the global remittance market, which reached $856 billion in 2024, could put nearly $1 billion in annual transfers through a payments network. Fees on this volume could mean millions in revenue, making the RTX story look very different from a simple presale.
