Solana's $295 Price Target: A Challenging Ascent
Solana's recent price surge has reignited discussions among holders about its potential to reach its all-time high of $295. However, reaching this milestone would require a significant price increase of 138% from around $124.
This puts Solana's market cap at approximately $72.8 billion, which needs to rise to about $173 billion to hit the target. Achieving this would either require a substantial growth in Solana's share of the market or a significant increase across the entire crypto space.
The previous record was fueled by the TRUMP memecoin, which debuted on the Solana network and pushed daily fees to $33 million at its peak. However, current daily fees hover around $1 million, only 3% of the previous highs.
Despite this, potential buyers may be more institutional investors and funds than small-time traders. Spot Solana funds currently hold around $1.4 billion and have been on a positive streak, attracting capital for 12 consecutive weeks.
