Solana's Alpenglow Deployment Delayed Amid Testing

Solana's Alpenglow has been making waves in the crypto community, but recent reports of its deployment to mainnet on September 28 were unfounded.

According to Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko and developer Anza, Alpenglow is still in public testing and there is no set timeline for its mainnet rollout.

The next-generation consensus protocol aims to significantly improve transaction finality, reducing it from 12.8 seconds to around 150 milliseconds.
