Solana's Capacity to Surge 3.3 Times Amid Upcoming Upgrade
Solana's upcoming upgrade is set to significantly boost its processing capacity by 3.3 times, from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes on September 9th.
The new limit will only apply to transactions in the v1 format and legacy transactions will remain unaffected.
This update opens up space for more complex processes within a single atomic transaction using zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs, potentially creating new use cases in Solana's ecosystem valued at $102.69 per SOL token.
