Solana's DEX Volume Surpasses $3T as Rent Reduction Looms
Solana's decentralized exchange (DEX) volume has surpassed $3 trillion in cumulative trading. This milestone comes as the network prepares for another major development - the second wave of its rent reduction program, which is set to go live on mainnet in a few hours.
This latest step will make an additional 612,000 SOL reclaimable, bringing the total reclaimable amount to 918,000 SOL. The full scope of Solana's rent reduction plan could ultimately see up to 3.06 million SOL, worth around $319 million, become reclaimable.
Meanwhile, tokenized equity supply on Solana has reached a record high of $684 million, representing a 47% increase in just three weeks. This growth adds another notable metric to an already active week for the network.
Several other ecosystem developments are also underway, including the launch of new apps and the introduction of new economic models. The SOL price action is also drawing attention, with analysts pointing towards a potentially bullish setup that could see the token reach $150 if it breaks through key resistance at $105.
