Solana's Dominance in Tokenized Equities Trading Fades

Solana's dominance in tokenized equities trading has been challenged by a new player, Robinhood Chain. While Solana once controlled nearly all of this market, now it holds around 35% of the global volume share.

This is a significant drop from its peak in Q2 2026 when it held between 95% and 97% of the market, with volumes reaching $5.8B that quarter alone.

The introduction of Robinhood Chain's Layer 2 Ethereum solution on July 1, 2026, marked a turning point. It quickly gained traction, averaging $29.7M in daily tokenized stock DEX volume and sometimes surpassing Solana's own venues.

However, September has seen some stabilization for Solana, with its market share recovering to approximately 35%.
