Solana's Record Revenue Meets Warning Sign: Bullish or Bearish?
Solana's price action has been gaining attention lately due to its record-breaking daily app revenue and tokenized equity trading volume. On September 11, Solana's daily app revenue hit a new high of $7.9 million, with Stonkfun leading the day at $2.48 million followed by Pump at $1.10 million. This surge in revenue is attributed to the growing popularity of decentralized finance (DeFi) on the Solana network.
The tokenized equity trading volume on Solana has also been impressive, beating the combined activity of Nasdaq and NYSE by over $100 million on a single day. This milestone highlights the increasing adoption of tokenized equities as investors gain access to stock exposure 24/7. The Solana network's own data shows that tokenized equity supply reached a record $684 million last week, spread across six platforms.
Despite these positive indicators, there is a warning sign in the form of a bearish RSI divergence. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has made a lower high while the price made a higher high, indicating that upward momentum may be fading. However, the SOL price remains above all four EMAs, indicating an intact uptrend.
The Solana price prediction for September 15 is bullish, with some analysts expecting the price to reach $109 if it holds above $99.74. However, a break below the 50-day EMA at $92.30 would suggest that the early-September rally has run out of momentum.
