Solana’s Stocklana Hackathon Closes with 604 Submissions
Solana’s Stocklana hackathon concluded with a strong turnout, attracting 604 project submissions from 1,182 registered participants. The event, focused on tokenized stocks, equities that trade around the clock on a blockchain, offered a $126,000 prize pool. Winners are expected to be announced around October 2, 2026.
The hackathon, launched on September 11, 2026, originally planned as a one-week sprint, was extended to September 25, 2026. It marked the debut of Solana’s new self-serve platform for developer competitions. The prize pool included $100,000 for the main track and $26,000 in bounties from partners PreStocks, Tessera, and Meteora.
PreStocks specializes in tokenized pre-IPO shares, Tessera focuses on private equities, and Meteora contributes expertise in Dynamic Bonding Curves. The event highlighted Solana’s capability for 24/7 trading, with 63% of tokenized share volume occurring outside traditional market hours.
Stocklana served as both a test for tokenized equity tools and a launchpad for Solana’s hackathon platform. The partner lineup suggests growing interest in democratizing access to pre-IPO and private equity investments.
