Solana's Surging Growth Outpaces Bitcoin in Q3 Crypto ETF Inflows
Crypto ETFs saw significant inflows in Q3, with a total of $10.2 billion attracted by U.S. spot crypto ETFs. Bitcoin funds took the largest share, with a net inflow of $6.3 billion. However, when looking at growth rates, Solana funds posted the fastest growth, with a 42% increase in lifetime inflows.
The contrast between Bitcoin's $6.3 billion inflow and Solana's $480 million highlights the importance of growth rates in understanding investor interest. Solana's funds start with a total of $1.6 billion and would need an additional $680 million to achieve another 42% rise.
Ethereum funds performed well on both metrics, securing second place in dollar inflows with $3.1 billion and second in growth with 28%. XRP funds, with assets totaling $1.7 billion, only attracted $308 million, significantly less than Solana's $480 million.
