Solari Capital Bets Big on Programmable Reality
Solari Capital, a venture capital firm founded by AJ Scaramucci, has announced it will invest approximately $3.5 billion in various sectors.
The company's focus is on 'programmable reality,' and its investments span four key areas: programmable intelligence (AI and large models such as xAI and Suno), programmable biology (gene therapy and longevity technology, including Tessera Therapeutics and Cambrian Bio), programmable materials (space exploration, energy, robotics, with Varda Space and Northwood Space), and programmable finance (blockchain infrastructure and DeFi, featuring Genius Terminal and Architect Financial).
Scaramucci has also added collectibles, including art, trading cards, and dinosaur fossils, to the company's portfolio, viewing them as 'cultural value storage' assets akin to gold and Bitcoin. He estimates this market size at $250 billion.
