Solari Capital Unveils $350M Portfolio Focused on Programmable Reality
Solari Capital, a venture firm founded by AJ Scaramucci, has emerged from stealth mode after quietly deploying $350 million across various investments. The firm's thesis is centered around 'programmable reality,' which refers to the exponentially growing computational power that enables the reprogramming of entire domains.
The portfolio breakdown reveals four distinct investment tracks: programmable intelligence, featuring AI and foundation model companies like xAI and Suno; programmable biology, including gene therapy and longevity-focused firms such as Tessera Therapeutics; programmable matter, covering space, energy, and robotics investments in Varda Space; and programmable finance, encompassing blockchain infrastructure and DeFi projects like Genius Terminal and Architect Financial.
Solari's involvement with American Bitcoin is notable, having led a $220 million funding round in July 2025, committing over $100 million of its own capital. This represents nearly a third of the firm's total deployed capital going into one Bitcoin mining company, American Bitcoin. The firm has also assembled a collection of collectibles, including comics, trading cards, and dinosaur bones, which Scaramucci argues belong in asset classes comparable to gold and Bitcoin.
