A rare solo Bitcoin miner has pulled off an incredible feat, landing a $200,000 block reward jackpot. On August 2, 2026, at 02:11 UTC, a single bitcoin miner solved block height 960804 using CKPool's shared infrastructure.

The miner earned the full block reward of approximately 3.1569 BTC, thanks to a combination of the fixed 3.125 BTC subsidy and about 0.032 BTC in transaction fees from 4,243 transactions packed into the block.

CKPool developer Dr -ck confirmed the win on X, describing the miner's computing power as 'wildly variable, presumably rental, peaking at 100 PH' or petahash per second. This represents about 0.011% of Bitcoin's total network hashrate.
