Soluna and Bitdeer Boost Bitcoin Mining Capacity in Texas

Soluna and Bitdeer are expanding their Bitcoin mining partnership at Project Kati 1 in South Texas. The two companies have added approximately 7 MW of mining equipment to the site, taking Bitdeer's total planned deployment to 35 MW.

The expansion is expected to be completed by November and will bring Bitdeer's total hash rate at Kati 1 to around 2.42 EH/s. Soluna provides the data-center site, power, and operating infrastructure, while Bitdeer supplies and owns the mining equipment.

The two companies share the mining proceeds generated by the deployment, making this an example of a co-mining structure that differs from traditional hosting deals.
