Soluna and Bitdeer Expand Texas Wind-Powered Bitcoin Mining Deployment

Soluna Holdings and Bitdeer have expanded their partnership to increase Bitcoin mining capacity at Project Kati 1 in Texas. The revised agreement raises the deployment's power from approximately 28 MW to around 35 megawatts.

The expansion boosts Bitdeer's Bitcoin mining presence at the wind-powered data center, where Soluna provides site, power, and operational services while Bitdeer supplies and owns the mining equipment. The companies will share the revenue generated by the mining deployment.

This increased scale is part of their focus on using renewable energy for industrial Bitcoin mining in the United States.
