Soluna Holdings Inc., the company behind the 83 MW wind-powered data center Project Kati 1 in South Texas, has expanded its partnership with Bitdeer Technologies Group. The new agreement adds approximately 7 MW of additional Bitcoin mining equipment at the site, bringing Bitdeer's total deployment to 35 MW and approximately 2.42 exahashes per second of hash rate.

The expansion is expected to be complete in November 2026. This deployment follows a co-mining structure introduced by Soluna in August, where they provide the site, power, and operations while Bitdeer provides and owns its Sealminer A2 Pro Air mining equipment.

Soluna's CEO, John Belizaire, stated that they 'entered our first co-mining agreement with Bitdeer in August, and we are expanding it before that deployment is even finished.'
