Soluna Expands Bitdeer Partnership with Texas Data Center Addition

Soluna Holdings Inc. has expanded its partnership with Bitdeer Technologies Group by adding 7 MW of Bitcoin mining equipment to Project Kati 1 in South Texas, a wind-powered data center.

The deployment brings Bitdeer's total capacity at the site to 35 MW and approximately 2.42 exahashes per second of hash rate.

Project Kati 1 is an 83 MW facility located in Willacy County, Texas, where the new equipment will be installed in the K1BC phase, which is now fully subscribed.

Soluna CEO John Belizaire said that the company 'entered our first co-mining agreement with Bitdeer in August, and we are expanding it before that deployment is even finished.'
