Soneium Relies on Optimism for Chain Operations

Soneium has announced that it will transfer its chain operations to Optimism's OP Enterprise service. This move allows Soneium's Ethereum layer 2 network to utilize managed infrastructure, while retaining control over its own roadmap and strategic direction.

The agreement includes a target of 99.9% monthly uptime for the network. Under the terms of the deal, Optimism Foundation and OP Labs will handle deployment, upgrades, sequencer operations, node infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response.

Soneium was developed using the OP Stack, Optimism's framework for building Ethereum layer 2 networks. The company's team will focus on creating tokenized intellectual property and on-chain entertainment products following this transfer.
