Sonic Burn Looms as Pharos and Grass Airdrops Approach Deadlines
The crypto world is abuzz with the deadline for the Sonic burn, set to occur on October 15, 2026. Around 32.69 million unclaimed S tokens from the Season 1 and Season 2 airdrops will be burned, leaving no room for latecomers.
The Pharos airdrop, on the other hand, has a slightly more generous deadline, with its claim portal closing on October 25, 2026. Eligible participants include testnet participants, contributors to the “Stake Before the Stake” campaign, holders of certain Discord roles, and users of the OKX wallet campaign.
Grass, meanwhile, has a deadline of January 22, 2027, for its Stage 2 rewards. The payout will be in USDC, not GRASS, due to regulatory uncertainty in eligible countries.
Other airdrops, such as the LAPTOP at Bitvavo, CZR Genesis, and Aster Phase 2, have been left out due to various reasons, including expired deadlines and unclear terms.
