Sonic Sees Two-Month High in DEX Volume After Bundle Transaction Launch

Share

Sonic, the EVM-compatible layer-one blockchain, experienced a surge in decentralized exchange (DEX) volume after introducing Bundle Transactions. According to data from DefiLlama, Sonic's DEX volume reached $2.46 million on August 27, its highest level since June 28.

This represents a more than tenfold increase from the August 15 low of $241,000. The new feature allows users to combine multiple operations into one atomic transaction, reducing steps and risk for traders and automated strategies.

However, while trading activity has spiked, the total value locked (TVL) on Sonic increased by only $770,000 over the past day, reaching approximately $17.22 million.
