Sony-Backed Exchange Lists Cardano's ADA and Midnight Sidechain Token

Japanese exchange S.BLOX, backed by Sony Group Corporation, has listed Cardano (ADA) and NIGHT, the native token of Midnight's sidechain, for trading on August 24, 2026.

This move marks a significant development in the Japanese market, as S.BLOX is the first regulated local operator to list NIGHT.

As part of its promotional campaigns, S.BLOX is offering registered users up to 10,000 yen in ADA and up to 14,000 yen in NIGHT upon meeting certain operational requirements.

Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, noted that integrating these assets in Japan represents a significant step forward given the rigorous technical evaluation and compliance processes required by the Financial Services Agency of Japan (JFSA).
