South Korea Prepares to Tokenize Securities as AlphaPepe Builds AI Trading Utility
South Korea is laying the groundwork for tokenized securities, a move that could significantly change the way financial products are issued and traded. The country's Financial Services Commission has announced a three-phase plan to implement the new framework, with the first phase set to begin on February 4, 2027.
The plan covers the creation of tokenized institutional bonds, unlisted shares held through trusts, and publicly offered fractional investment securities. Later phases will expand the scope to include more securities and potentially even on-chain payment infrastructure linked to stablecoins.
Meanwhile, AlphaPepe is building its own AI trading utility, which will be available to users before the token's public listing. The company's AlphaSwap Early Access is already live, giving users tools to analyze token performance and make informed investment decisions.
