Southeast Asia Crypto Funding Jumps to Record High

Share

Crypto and blockchain companies in Southeast Asia have seen a significant increase in equity funding this year. According to data from market intelligence platform Tracxn, they raised $680 million so far in 2026, more than double the $319 million raised during all of 2025.

The number of completed rounds has actually decreased by roughly 46%, with only 25 funding rounds completed this year compared to 46 in 2025 and a peak of 206 in 2022. However, the average deal size has increased significantly, from around $6.9 million in 2025 to approximately $27.2 million this year.

The largest contributor to this year's total is Crypto.com, which raised $400 million in July at a valuation of $20 billion. This deal alone accounts for nearly 60% of Southeast Asia's blockchain funding this year and over half of the region's total crypto funding.
