SpaceTrade Redesigns for Wider Crypto Access

Share

SpaceTrade Technologies has rebranded and unveiled its new headquarters in Lagos, aiming to simplify cryptocurrency transactions for everyday use. The company's Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder, Oluwatobi Odunaiya, explained that the goal is to bridge the gap between owning cryptocurrency and using it for basic purchases.

The current process of converting cryptocurrency into fiat currency before buying goods or services can be cumbersome, according to Odunaiya. To address this issue, SpaceTrade is introducing solutions to allow users to spend digital assets more conveniently, including an offline payment option through a physical card.

Odunaiya emphasized that the company wants people to feel like they can easily use their cryptocurrency for everyday transactions without it being complicated. SpaceTrade is also simplifying several stages of digital-asset transactions, including buying, storing, selling, and converting cryptocurrencies into cash or naira.
