SpaceTrade Unveils New Brand Identity, Aims to Simplify Crypto Trading
SpaceTrade Technologies has unveiled a new brand identity and headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. The rebranding aims to simplify cryptocurrency trading and expand its focus beyond crypto exchange.
Oluwatobi Odunaiya, Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of SpaceTrade, stated that accessibility and simplicity are central to the rebranding. He noted that many people are excluded from the crypto market due to a lack of understanding about digital assets and their usage in everyday life.
SspaceTrade is addressing the difficulty users face in moving from owning crypto to using it for everyday transactions. The company has introduced an offline payment option through a physical card, allowing users to spend crypto offline. This innovation aims to simplify the process of buying, storing, selling, and converting digital assets.
The rebranding also marks SpaceTrade's shift towards focusing on digital assets beyond cryptocurrency, including NFTs. The company is working closely with regulatory frameworks being developed by authorities, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), to ensure compliance and safety.
