SpaceX’s Bitcoin Holdings Surge by $191 Million in 20 Days
SpaceX’s Bitcoin holdings have surged by over $191.72 million in just 20 days, as of October 6, 2026. The company’s Bitcoin portfolio, which remains unchanged at 18,720 BTC, saw its value rise from $1.41 billion on September 16 to $1.61 billion. This growth is attributed to Bitcoin’s 14% price increase, driven by renewed institutional demand and favorable regulatory developments in the United States.
Despite not purchasing or selling any Bitcoin during this period, SpaceX has benefited from the cryptocurrency’s recent rally. Bitcoin’s price climbed from $75,585 on September 16 to nearly $86,000 at the time of reporting. Over the past three months, SpaceX’s Bitcoin holdings have become even more profitable, increasing from $490 million on July 7 to $909 million.
SpaceX has been profitable in its Bitcoin investments since October 24, 2023, positioning the company to capitalize on both the crypto bull market and the Artificial Intelligence (AI) boom. Top Wall Street banks, including Citigroup Inc. and Bernstein, predict further Bitcoin price gains, with Citigroup forecasting a year-end price of $113,000. This could push SpaceX’s Bitcoin holdings to exceed $1.87 billion by the end of the quarter.
