Spot Bitcoin ETFs Bleed $265M as BlackRock's IBIT Posts $122.7M Redemptions
US spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced a significant reversal on July 31, with $265.4 million in outflows just one day after attracting $233.1 million in net inflows. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounted for nearly half of the damage, posting $122.7 million in redemptions.
This is not IBIT's worst day, however - that distinction belongs to a session in May 2026 when the fund recorded roughly $528 million in single-day outflows. Fidelity's FBTC came in second on the outflow leaderboard, shedding $54.8 million.
Despite the rough day, IBIT's net assets still sat at approximately $46.52 billion as of July 31, down from $47.67 billion the day before. The fund holds roughly 739,066 BTC.
