Spot Bitcoin ETFs See Third Week of Positive Inflows Led by BlackRock
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $241 million in net inflows for the week ending October 2, 2026, marking the third consecutive week of positive inflows. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the charge, attracting $450 million in inflows alone, bringing its cumulative total to $65.73 billion. This figure far surpasses the entire category’s net total, highlighting IBIT’s dominance in the market.
ARK 21Shares’ ARKB added $25.52 million, pushing its cumulative total to $1.4 billion. In contrast, Fidelity’s FBTC experienced the largest outflows of the week, shedding $168 million, although its cumulative asset base remains at $10.9 billion. The combined inflows from IBIT and ARKB exceeded the week’s net total, suggesting that other funds in the group were net negative.
Total net assets across all spot Bitcoin ETFs reached approximately $108.89 billion, representing 6.42% of Bitcoin’s total market capitalization. Cumulative net inflows since the funds launched in January 2024 now total approximately $57.79 billion. After a challenging first half of 2026, marked by heavy redemptions, the sector has seen a rebound starting in August, with September delivering a record inflow of $2.4 billion.
The concentration of inflows in IBIT raises questions about the breadth of renewed investor appetite. If IBIT continues to absorb the bulk of new money while other funds see redemptions, the headline numbers may overstate the overall market recovery. For now, the data indicates a positive trend, with money flowing back into spot Bitcoin ETFs and BlackRock remaining the primary beneficiary.
