Stablecoin Development Relocates HQ to West Palm Beach Amid Cost Savings

Share

Crypto firm Stablecoin Development Corp., which recently rebranded from NovaBay Pharmaceuticals, has relocated its headquarters to West Palm Beach. The company made this move in an effort to save on costs, according to its second-quarter financial results filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Stablecoin Development terminated its lease in California and is now located in Suite 800 at 222 Lakeview Ave., which is part of the Esperanté Corporate Center. This office building was recently refinanced by Hudson Bay Capital Management for $145 million. The company's move comes after it rebranded from NovaBay Pharmaceuticals, a developer of eyecare, skincare, and wound care products, to pursue cryptocurrency.

As of July 31st, Stablecoin Development held nearly $2.3 billion in Sky tokens, which accounts for about 10% of the asset's market share. This significant holding is notable given the company's relatively short history as a crypto firm.
