Stablecoin Market Contracts to $312B, Adjusted Volume Hits Record
The stablecoin market contracted in June 2026, as its market capitalization fell by $7.7 billion to $312 billion.
This decline marked a 2.39% drop and was the first monthly decline in five months.
However, despite this decrease in supply, on-chain activity reached a record high of $1.79 trillion in adjusted transaction volume, up 63% from May and 125% from June 2025.
The leading stablecoin, USDT, accounted for roughly $183.9 billion in market capitalization, while USDC stood near $73.7 billion.
