Despite this contraction, blockchain transaction activity reached a record high of $1.79 trillion in June, indicating growing institutional adoption and expanding blockchain usage.

USDC processed over twice the transaction volume of USDT, highlighting its increasing use as an operational settlement asset rather than just a store of liquidity.
