Stablecoin Market Suffers $14 Billion Loss Since May Amid Liquidity Shortfalls
The stablecoin market has seen a significant decline in its total market capitalization since May, with a loss of $14 billion. According to CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost, the market has been struggling to recover due to insufficient liquidity. However, there are early signs of a reversal in the trend, with the stablecoin market cap increasing by approximately $4 billion since September and rebounding to around $270 billion.
Darkfost noted that while the current recovery remains limited, further liquidity inflows are needed to drive Bitcoin to new highs. The analyst's comments come as the crypto market continues to navigate the effects of the market downturn.
