Stablecoin Market Surpasses $300 Billion
The stablecoin market has reached a new milestone, surpassing $300 billion in market cap as of October 1, 2026. According to a joint report by RWA Foundation and Token Terminal, the market now covers 195 assets and 47 blockchain networks.
Tron was one of the standout performers during the third quarter, adding $5 billion in supply and increasing its total to $93.9 billion. This represents a 5.6% growth for Tron, outpacing Ethereum's decline of $4.9 billion in market cap.
The report also highlights the dominance of Tether and Circle, which account for 91.7% of all stablecoin holder addresses. USDT added 16.6 million addresses during the quarter, while USDC brought in 8.1 million.
