Stablecoins Infiltrate Conventional Finance as Coinbase Partners With Banks
Coinbase has partnered with Moov and Stablecore to bring stablecoins and crypto services into systems serving thousands of U.S. banks and credit unions.
The expansion will allow more than 1,000 community banks and credit unions to access stablecoin capabilities through the Coinbase-Moov arrangement, while a subsequent partnership with Stablecore extends embedded crypto trading, custody, staking, and payment tools into banking systems connected to over 3,000 U.S. financial institutions.
This development confirms that blockchain payments are increasingly becoming part of conventional financial software used by banks.
Remittix, on the other hand, is building a consumer-facing ecosystem that combines crypto-to-bank settlement with trading, a mobile wallet, and planned yield tools.
