Stacks Price Soars 28% as Muneeb Ali Returns to Lead Expansion
The price of Stacks (STX) has surged by more than 28% after Muneeb Ali, co-founder and incoming CEO of Stacks Labs, announced his return to an operating leadership role. This move comes as the network's Bitcoin staking product enters its expansion phase. The Genesis Bond, launched on September 10, has already seen participation from notable institutions such as 21Shares and HashKey Cloud.
The next institutional Bitcoin staking round is set to open on October 10 with 500 BTC of capacity, more than twice the initial amount. Muneeb Ali has identified increasing Bitcoin capital on Stacks and expanding institutional adoption as priorities, alongside network upgrades for capacity, privacy, and security.
With STX currently trading around $0.36, the market is looking to break through the critical resistance zone near $0.40. A sustained move beyond this level could open up new technical areas, including $0.45 and eventually $0.50. However, a fall below the key support area of $0.34-$0.35 could weaken the current structure.
