Stacks Price Surges 28% with Muneeb Ali's Return to Leadership Role
Stacks Labs has announced that co-founder Muneeb Ali will become CEO again, replacing interim CEO Alex Miller who will move into an advisory role. This leadership change arrives as the network's Bitcoin staking product is entering its expansion phase and ahead of the next institutional Bitcoin staking round on October 10.
The Genesis Bond launched on September 10 with participation from several institutions including 21Shares, HashKey Cloud, UTXO Management, and Sypher Capital. The structure requires an STX position worth roughly 5% of the bonded BTC, and participants have already bonded approximately 230 BTC alongside 310,000 STX.
With Ali's return to a leadership role, Stacks is shifting its focus from building infrastructure toward scaling adoption and institutional participation. Increasing Bitcoin capital on Stacks and expanding institutional adoption are now top priorities, alongside network capacity, privacy, and security upgrades.
