Staked Axis USD (SUSDX) Brings Synthetic Dollar Earnings
Staked Axis USD (SUSDX) is a synthetic dollar issued by the quantitative yield protocol Axis. The token is backed by a market-neutral trading book and returns come from closing price differences across venues, not from token emissions.
The staked form of USDx is sUSDx, which users can obtain by staking USDx to receive vault shares. The sUSDx contract uses ERC-4626 vault accounting and an asynchronous redemption flow compatible with ERC-7540.
Rewards are added in USDx and increase the sUSDx exchange rate over time. Coordinate Labs Pte. Ltd., a company based in Singapore, operates SUSDX.
