Stand With Crypto Endorses Midterm Candidates Amid CLARITY Act Gridlock

Coinbase's industry-aligned advocacy group Stand With Crypto has announced its picks for US Congress ahead of the midterms. The organization, launched in 2023 to promote 'clear, common-sense regulations' for the crypto industry, is backing several candidates running for Senate and House seats.

In Ohio, Stand With Crypto is supporting Republican Jon Husted's defense of his Senate seat against Democrat Sherrod Brown. In Iowa, the group has endorsed Republican Ashley Hinson for a Senate seat and Mariannette Miller-Meeks for a House seat. Democrat Chris Pappas in New Hampshire also received the organization's backing.

The endorsements come as many polls show Democrats favored to regain control of the House and Senate in 2027, which could change how lawmakers address bills like the Digital Asset Market Clarity (CLARITY) Act.
