Stand With Crypto Endorses Pro-Crypto Candidates Amid Midterm Campaign

The Stand With Crypto group has announced its endorsements for several Senate and House races ahead of the November midterms. The group, backed by Coinbase, has endorsed candidates in three Senate races: Republican Sen. Jon Husted in Ohio, Republican Rep. Ashley Hinson in Iowa, and Democratic Rep. Chris Pappas in New Hampshire. These endorsements are part of a broader effort to support pro-crypto candidates, with the group claiming that its over 3 million advocates will judge lawmakers based on their crypto policy positions.

The group's endorsements come after the Clarity Act failed to advance in the Senate last month, with Democrats voting as a bloc. Stand With Crypto framed this defeat as a turning point, warning that senators' votes would be added to its public scorecard and that its supporters would judge lawmakers at the ballot box.

The group is also ramping up advertising in six House campaigns, building on an earlier round of endorsements in August when it backed 32 House incumbents. Combined crypto-aligned political spending has approached roughly $200 million for the 2026 cycle, with Stand With Crypto focusing on voter mobilization and grading candidates through its Voter Hub.
