Standard Chartered Analyst Sees Altcoins Outshining XRP
Standard Chartered's Geoff Kendrick believes tokenization has already won in the crypto market, and he's not betting on XRP. Instead, he's focusing on four altcoins that he thinks will benefit from the shift towards tokenization. According to Kendrick, the cycle bottom has been confirmed by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's recent announcement on long-end bond buybacks.
Kendrick draws a comparison between the crypto market and Amazon's 2001 crash from $113 to $6. The stock collapsed, but internal metrics continued to improve. Kendrick thinks crypto has gone through a similar disconnect and that tokenization-linked altcoins will soon show improvement in price.
The four altcoins on Kendrick's radar are Uniswap, Aave, Arbitrum, and Chainlink. He predicts that Uniswap will reach $100 by 2030, Aave will hit $3,500, Arbitrum will reach $10, and Chainlink will reach $200. Kendrick's targets for Ethereum are $4,000 by year-end and $40,000 by 2030.
