Standard Chartered Forecasts $10 Price Target for Arbitrum's ARB Token
Standard Chartered has set a $10 price target for Arbitrum's ARB token by 2030. This forecast represents a 70-fold increase from the token's current level, according to Geoff Kendrick, Standard Chartered's global head of digital assets research.
The bank cites Arbitrum's potential role as infrastructure for traditional financial institutions moving assets and activity onto blockchain networks.
Standard Chartered expects Arbitrum to outperform Bitcoin and Ether over the forecast period on a percentage basis. The bank sees several interim targets leading up to its $10 valuation, including $0.50 by the end of 2026, $1.50 by the end of 2027, $3.50 by the end of 2028, and $6.50 by the end of 2029.
The bank's projection is tied to Arbitrum's business model and its ability to provide infrastructure for external blockchain networks operated by traditional financial companies.
