Standard Chartered Forecasts 70x Surge for Arbitrum Token
Standard Chartered's research team has initiated coverage of Arbitrum, predicting its token will surge by 70 times to $10 by 2030. The bank's global head of digital assets research, Geoff Kendrick, describes Arbitrum as 'the blockchain for TradFi,' citing its business model that helps traditional finance firms transition on-chain positions.
Kendrick notes that Arbitrum earns a significant revenue stream through a 10% rolling fee of net protocol revenue when other chains build on its technology stack. This is demonstrated by the success of Robinhood Chain, launched on Arbitrum's stack in July, which has seen rapid growth in value locked and generated substantial fees for Arbitrum.
The analyst forecasts $4 trillion of tokenized assets by end-2028, up from around $340 billion today, with Arbitrum poised to capture a significant share of this market. Kendrick expects the price of ARB to rise to $0.50 by 2030 and climb each year, eventually reaching $10.
