Standard Chartered Predicts Arbitrum Token Price Could Reach $10 by 2030
Standard Chartered has begun formal research coverage of Arbitrum (ARB) and is predicting that its token price could reach $10 by the end of 2030. The bank's global head of digital assets research, Geoff Kendrick, described Arbitrum as 'the blockchain for TradFi,' citing its potential to help conventional financial firms move activity on-chain.
Kendrick argued that this positioning puts Arbitrum in the path of a much larger tokenization market, which is expected to grow to $4 trillion by the end of 2028. If even a portion of this activity runs on dedicated networks built with Arbitrum's technology, protocol income could rise for years.
The bank noted that Arbitrum has a fee model that captures value when other parties use its stack, collecting a rolling 10% of net protocol revenue from external chains built on its technology. This model is seen as an immediate catalyst behind the coverage initiation, with fees expected to increase due to the launch of Robinhood Chain in July 2026.
Kendrick expects investors to re-rate the token as recurring infrastructure fees become harder to ignore, leading to a gradual price path with ARB reaching $0.50 by the end of 2026 and rising through subsequent years toward the $10 mark in 2030. However, the bank also acknowledges that this is not guaranteed, citing potential risks such as slower-than-expected tokenization adoption or competing blockchains winning institutional mandates.
