Standard Chartered Sees 70x Upside in ARB Token Price
Standard Chartered has initiated coverage of Arbitrum (ARB), predicting that its token price will reach $10 by 2030. The bank's global head of digital assets research, Geoffrey Kendrick, believes that Arbitrum is emerging as a key infrastructure for traditional finance, with the network benefiting from the growing use of blockchain infrastructure by traditional financial institutions and the expansion of tokenized assets.
ARB has been trading at $0.137 after Standard Chartered published its note, up 1% from its previous price. The token has posted an 85% gain over the past month, according to CoinGecko. Arbitrum receives 10% of net protocol revenue for the service it provides, and Standard Chartered estimates that this revenue will reach about $5 million in September following Robinhood Chain's launch in early July.
Standard Chartered forecasts that tokenized assets will grow to $4 trillion by the end of 2028, which should raise Arbitrum's revenue and bring its market-cap-to-fees multiple closer to those of layer 1 networks. The bank projects ARB at $0.5 in 2026, $1.5 in 2027, $3.5 in 2028, $6.5 in 2029, and $10 in 2030.
