Standard Chartered Sees 70X Upsurge in Arbitrum ARB Token by 2030
Standard Chartered has initiated coverage of Arbitrum (ARB) and predicts it could surge by roughly 70 times to $10 by the end of 2030, driven by its potential as a leading blockchain infrastructure provider for traditional financial institutions.
The bank cites the recent launch of Robinhood Chain as evidence that Arbitrum's revenue is poised to expand significantly. Kendrick Geoffrey, global head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered, expects Arbitrum's monthly revenue to reach about $5 million in September, more than five times its level before the Robinhood Chain launch.
The bank estimates tokenized assets could reach $4 trillion by the end of 2028, creating a large market for blockchain infrastructure providers. However, Standard Chartered also flags slower growth in asset tokenization and increased competition from other blockchains as potential challenges.
