Standard Chartered has set its sights on Chainlink (LINK), targeting the token at $200 by the end of 2030. This implies a roughly 25-fold gain from LINK's current price of $8.25, according to Geoff Kendrick, global head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered.

The bank also predicts that Bitcoin will reach $500,000 and Ethereum will hit $40,000 over the same period. The thesis behind these forecasts is based on one core forecast: tokenized assets on-chain growing roughly 12-fold to $4 trillion by end-2028, with assets deployed in DeFi expanding 37-fold to $2.7 trillion by 2030.

Kendrick estimates that Chainlink's fees will rise roughly 25 times over this window and assumes the token price follows suit. This is because Chainlink charges fees for delivering data and moving assets between chains, making it a significant player in DeFi.
