Stellar Leadership Discusses Network Progress and Future Expectations in Q2 Webinar

The Stellar Development Foundation hosted a Q2 webinar to discuss network performance and future expectations. The event featured senior-level leadership, including CEO Denelle Dixon, Chief Product Officer Tomer Weller, Chief Technology Officer Raja Chakraborty, and VP of Product Jose Da Ponte.

The team highlighted the growth of payments, tokenization, and developer tools on the Stellar network. Although specific metrics for the second quarter were not disclosed, the foundation emphasized an increase in active accounts and asset issuance as key measures of adoption.

Dixon, Da Ponte, Weller, and Chakraborty discussed the strategy for connecting protocol enhancements to businesses. They mentioned Soroban smart contracts and compliant tools for regulated assets, as well as integrated payment gateway partners.
